Music From ‘American Horror Story: Coven’

American Horror Story is back. This time the freakshow revolves around a witches Coven in New Orleans. Suffice to say, it’s really good so far (utterly disturbing), and it looks as though it could be the best season yet, although Asylum will be tough to beat. Kathy Bates has been a brilliant addition to the already great cast, and as usual, Jessica Lange is perfect in her role.

One of the best things about the Coven premiere was the music, which happily, is all on YouTube for your listening pleasure.¬†I hope they manage to fit in a musical number sung by the cast at some point during the season, although I can’t imagine how that would happen. Then again, no one would have thought The Name Game would fit so well into Asylum, so we’ll see.

Anyway, I’ve linked to all the songs from the premiere below. The best in my opinion are the first five on the list.

Lala Lala Song composed by James S. Levine

House of the Rising Sun by James S. Levine

Sugardland by Papa Mali

Last Train Home by Raffertie

Winter Song by Sara Bareilles & Ingrid Michaelson

In A Gadda Da Vida by Iron Butterfly

Seize The Night by Foxe Basin

2020 by Suuns

Pie IX by Suuns

Custom Car Crash by Calla

Hades by Sonic C.

Spirit by Frederic Mercier

Clowns by Bobby Tahouri
